Do you know that Antarctica has its own top level domain .aq? If you give in google the search string site: .aq, you get about fifty results. All of these sites are some scientific projects or government’s programms that are connected with Antarctica. A quite funny fact is that Linux posesses a site at .aq domain. This site is under construction at the moment, but on the welcome page you see already “Linux and Open-Source in Antarctica”. As for me the existence of Antarctica’s domain excited me very much.
