Planning an Extension for i-gorod.
When I woke up today in the morning I had a good feeling. Not only because the calender showed Friday and I didn’t have to go working. I realized, that I had two days time to start the realization of my plans concerning extention of i-gorod. I’m going to make a kind of a private area where I could publish my photos, post to a private blog and where I could invite my friends to. This area will be powered by Drupal. It’s a splendid CMS with a great variety of modules and a fine concept. Two years ago when I had to do something with Drupal I faced one unpleasant lack, Drupal didn’t support multi-lungual website interfaces. Now this feature must be there, so hopfully my private area will be able to “speak” German, English and Russian.
The design for the private area is ready. Tomorrow I hope to finish the most technical work. Cosmetics and content filling will be made during the next week. If everything goes fine, next weekend I’ll introduce this little project of mine.

I recetly read an article where the tendencies of Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 were compared. According to it home pages were replaced by blogs, single photos on the pages by taxonomy oriented galleries engines etc. So I just try to step with the time
