Some of you may have been using Plazes service for a long time. But for those like me who never heard about it, I’d like to introduce briefly this funny service. Plazes is a Web 2.0 creation, that was realized by a German company. The sence of it is that the users all over the world can leave their current location and what they are occupied with at the moment. This information can be sent via SMS or can be filled in directly online. If you are interested who else of your real or virtuel friends is drinking beer in the bar you are going to, just log you in and find out!

Recently there was a fine accident with Felix Petersen the chef of the company owning Plazes. He had to be present at one conference in Amsterdam. On the day before he called and said, that his daughter were ill and that’s why he couldn’t come. On the day of the conference Mr. Petersen forgot probabaly about the option in Plazes that makes possible to set the visibility level. The organisators of the conference were shocked about the fact, that Petersen drank on that day the beer at the Reboot-conference in Copenhagen. Well, you can imagine what happened afterwards…
